Merick Yamada, M.D.
Dr. Merick Yamada, a Pediatric and Fetal Cardiology specialist, is board certified in pediatrics. She received her medical degree from the Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center School of Medicine, completed her residency at the OU Children’s Hospital at the University of Oklahoma, and completed pediatric cardiology fellowship at Duke University Medical Center.
Dr. Yamada has given a series of lectures on various topics in pediatric cardiology that covered atrial and ventricular septal defects and coarctation of the aorta, among other conditions. She has also participated in the American Society of Echocardiography, American College of Cardiology and the American Academy of Pediatrics.
